- Hosted meetings throughout the year featuring the following guest speakers:
- February 16 Organized and hosted Energy Lobby Day at the statehouse to help citizens lobby for clean energy and energy efficiency legislation
- January 25 Organized and hosted a Legislative Luncheon at the Red Feather Lounge to allow select legislators and Collaborative members to sit down and discuss Idaho energy issues over a delicious noontime meal, which included an informative presentation by Kevin Van Den Wymelenberg from the Integrated Design Lab
2011

- November 18 Submitted a joint
letter to the Legislative Interim Energy, Environment, and Technology
Committee on the draft 2012 Idaho Energy Plan
- September 28 Submitted a joint letter to the Legislative Interim Energy, Environment, and Technology Committee on the 2007 Idaho Energy Plan review process
- August 12 Submitted a joint letter to the Idaho Strategic Energy Alliance on the 2007 Idaho Energy Plan review process
- July 10 Organized the Living Energy Festival, a free event held on the lawn at Shangri-La Tea Room and Cafe in Boise that offered informational booths from Collaborative members, live music from local bands, speeches from Sen. Elliot Werk and Rep. Sue Chew, and even an outdoor yoga session! The event was paper-less and the stage was powered by Site Based Energy's solar trailer.
- May 14-15 Arranged a "Sustainability Makes Sense: Energy" exhibit for the front lobby area at the Idaho Green Expo, displaying 6 categories of low-cost items that people can acquire or actions they can perform to save energy and reduce their carbon footprint (Knowledge is Power, Get With the Program, Reduce Your Useless Use, Solarize Your Life, You've Got the Power, and Just Weatherize It)

- December 16 Presented the "2020 Vision" PowerPoint series to the Boise Chamber of Commerce Leadership Boise Infrastructure and Environment Session at Legacy Pointe in the University of Idaho Water Center
- December 7 Participated in an Idaho Power "Green Portfolio Workshop," where ideas were exchanged about what a feasible portfolio of renewable, low-carbon energy resources would look like in order to address Idaho Power's anticipated peak load energy deficits over the next 10 years. Idaho Power will be analyzing this "green portfolio," along with eight others, for their 2011 Integrated Resource Plan.
- October 20 Held a meeting with Idaho election candidates to talk about energy issues in Idaho and foster a fruitful discussion about solutions
- October 14 Presented the "2020 Vision" PowerPoint series at the American Planning Association Conference at the Owyhee Plaza
- July 1 Hosted a dinner and film showing of "Nature Propelled" in the Red Feather cellar, while giving people a chance to see Baby parked right outside, the famous green-powered fire truck that carries sustainability educators and outdoor enthusiasts around the western hemisphere
- June 23-25 Presented to college students at the youth-organized Conference on Responsible Energy (CoRE) at Boise State on Idaho energy topics
- May 9 Contributed to the "2020 Vision" PowerPoint series at the Idaho Green Expo, outlining a sustainable vision for the future of Idaho
- May 8 Conducted a "Growing Green Jobs" panel at the Idaho Green Expo to highlight the tremendous potential for economic growth and job creation available in the emerging clean energy economy
- Spring Provided legislative bill support:
* Support for Grow Green Jobs Act
* Shareholder incentives for energy efficiency
* Lending tools for residential and small business solar/renewable energy (pacenow.org)
- February 26 & March 2 Presented a petition for the implementation of the 2007 Idaho Energy Plan with nearly 2,000 signatures to standing committees of the Idaho Legislature
- February 15 Organized and hosted Energy Lobby Day at the statehouse to help citizens lobby for clean energy and energy efficiency legislation
