Idaho Energy Collaborative
Membership Guidelines
Idaho Energy Collaborative (Collaborative) members:
• Must sign and submit the Collaborative Endorsement Form,
• Are not required to pay any membership dues,
• May attend and participate in any of the Collaborative meetings, and may suggest presenters for future
meetings,
• Are included on the Collaborative email list to receive messages from any other Collaborative member, and
may send emails to the rest of the group regarding pertinent energy issues/news/projects,
• Are listed on the Collaborative website as a member, with a link provided to their website, if one exists,
• Must agree to contribute to, participate in, and/or support Collaborative campaigns,
• May make statements to the public and outside groups only as a “Collaborative participant,” but not on behalf
of the Collaborative as a whole, unless the Collaborative has collectively agreed upon their doing so (via email
or meeting decision),
• Will review opportunities to formally endorse outside projects, policies, or groups along with other Collaborative
members, and together the group will decide on whether or not the Collaborative will sign on (via email or
meeting decision),
• Will direct all funds donated to the Collaborative towards Collaborative projects and causes,
• Are encouraged to join one of the Collaborative’s current committees to help conduct Collaborative business
and streamline campaigns, which may include the following:
o Finance Committee
o Mobility Committee
o Policy Committee
o Electoral Committee
o Work Force Housing Committee
o 2020 Campaign Committee
• May invite other energy-focused organizations, businesses, and community members to join the Collaborative,
attend Collaborative meetings, and get involved in Collaborative campaigns,
• Are required to complete an informal exit interview if and when they choose to leave the Collaborative.
