Energy Lobby Day

_Join Idaho organizations, businesses, and individuals to advocate for Idaho's clean energy future!  Meet with legislators, hand out packets of information, peruse informational booths setup by Idaho Energy Collaborative members, and let your lawmakers know that you think clean energy policy needs to be a priority in the name of our economy, our environment, and our health.

Event details:

• Thursday, February 16
• Shift #1: 8:00am-10:30am
• Shift #2: 10:30am-1:00pm
• Idaho State Capitol Building, 4th Floor Rotunda
• Post-event de-brief and chili lunch at the Sierra Club office at 1:15 for all participants!

Can't Make it to the Lobby Day Event?
You can still participate!  CALL YOUR LEGISLATORS ON FEBRUARY 16 from wherever you are in the state of Idaho.  Let's flood the phone lines with the voices of Idaho clean energy advocates!

Energy Lobby Day Trainings

Before you embark on your Energy Lobby Day journey, attend one of these Lobby Day Training Sessions so you feel well-informed and well-prepared to approach legislators and speak on a few of Idaho's key energy issues.  We'll cover information on the structure and processes in the Idaho Legislature, the pieces of energy legislation being considered by the Legislature, and all you need to know about the Lobby Day event itself.  Plus, there will be free snacks!

Training Session Details:

• Wednesday, February 8
• 5:00pm-6:00pm
• BSU Student Union Building, Trueblood Room (2nd floor)

• Thursday, February 9
• 6:00pm-7:30pm
• Snake River Alliance Office
• 350 N 9th St, Suite B10 (basement of Jefferson Place Building)
• This training session will include a quick trip to the Capitol Building across the street
